BP005560: Human Beta Klotho Protein with the C-His Tag
Source: The recombinant Human Beta Klotho Protein, (amino acids Met30-Thr983) fused with a His tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Human Beta Klotho protein with the His tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 111.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 115-130 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human Beta Klotho protein with the C-His tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/Well). Dose response curve for the recombinant Anti-Beta Klotho Antibody1 protein with the C-hFc tag with the EC50 of 24.1 ng/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 0.54 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human Beta Klotho Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Human Beta Klotho Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
